Fable inspired by Raphaël Domjan
Raphaël Domjan, born January 19, 1972 in Neuchâtel, is originally from Lausanne (Switzerland).
For this adventurer at heart, adventures and explorations are intended to protect the environment and biodiversity.
He considers that today we have the knowledge and technologies to be sustainable, and to give real meaning to progress.
In 2012, he completed the first circumnavigation of the world using solar energy aboard PlanetSolar, a 35-meter catamaran covered with 540 square meters of efficient solar panels.
In 2015, he launched the SolarStratos adventure, with which he hopes to realize Icarus' dream and reach the stratosphere using solar energy thanks to his solar plane.
He is also involved in various humanitarian projects to promote the use of solar energy and energy independence in developing countries.
Today, Raphaël is an eco-explorer and speaker who is committed, through his PlanetSolar foundation, to the promotion of solar energy in order to fight against climate change.
