Written by Gunter Pauli

Gunter Pauli is a world-renowned economist, eco-activist and entrepreneur. He is committed to promoting a waste- and pollution-free approach to environmental issues in order to achieve sustainable development for both human society and nature.
Founder of the Blue Economy model and the ZERI foundation, his philosophy is to “ do not expect the Earth to create more resources for us, but make better use of existing resources ". Gunter's Fables are the result of this philosophy.
Father of six children, it was for them that he initiated the writing of fables.
Gunter received the award in 2021 Goi for peace.
A Japanese equivalent of the Nobel Peace Prize.
"In recognition of his pioneering work in developing sustainable design and innovative business models that promote the well-being of all in harmony with the environment."

Recommended by many people

Following 20 years in the field of toys (especially magic), through Gunter's Fables I rediscovered that true magic is in nature. I find great to inspire so much children and parents. I discover that we can learn everything from natureabundance and innovation that she has been experiencing for millions of years. THANKS ?

Gunter's Fables are, for the youngest, a great tool of knowledge but also of hope and resilience. By explaining the cycles and phenomena that govern our environment as well as the impact of our human activities on nature, Gunter poses the debate bluntly.
The great added value of the Fables lies in the virtuous initiatives that are exposed to reconciling man and nature. By drawing inspiration from the intelligence of living things, it is possible to invent new ways of moving, feeding ourselves, building and even depolluting.
Let us know how to use the Fables as seeds of hope for create vocations and jobs of tomorrow for young people, but also for (already) older people.
And let's dream together of a more harmonious society.

Fables allowed me to bring to my children notions that are not taught nowhere else with pretty little short stories that allow them to marvel at what nature is capable of doing. They also provide them with some knowledge of English because they are written in both languages.
The little scientific experiments proposed for each fable allowed us to share precious family moments, to go from dream to reality, and to assimilate concepts while having fun.
The 'Do you know' and 'Think about it' sections allow for a rich dialogue with children by broadening their knowledge. The short guide for parents and teachers is also very valuable for going further on science, emotional intelligence, and art.
The inspiration of the fables shows them that it is not just a dream but that people and companies have really applied these principles successfully, creating another much more virtuous model. We think we're buying fables, but it's much more than that!

I've found a great gift idea for all my friends who have children and no longer want to accumulate pointless plastic toys. Gunter's Fables are.. very beautiful books, very useful for children and environmentally friendly.
The children love reading them and reproducing the experiences, project yourself into adventures. In addition we can really create a whole collection, awaited by the children.
For me, it's the ideal gift !
